BBQ Jackfruit Pizza


We all know about BBQ Chicken Pizza, but after picking up the brand new TJs Pulled BBQ Jackfruit, my mind immediately went to a meatless take on BBQ Chicken Pizza! This smokey and sweet pizza has all the BBQ flavors, and the texture of Jackfruit will have you questioning if it actually is meat!




Start with your pizza “vessel.” The TJs already prepared doughs which are in the refrigerated section, are fantastic, although I decided to go a bit healthier for this version. I used the frozen cauliflower crust. The cauliflower crusts need to be baked before topping. I follow the baking directions on the box entirely, except I also add a bit of olive oil and Everyday Seasoning to the crust. Flipping the crusts is challenging, so make sure you have your biggest spatula ready!!





Next, the Jackfruit is saucy enough that I used it for pizza sauce and the “meat.” Next, toss on some sliced red onions, top with mozzarella cheese, some chopped cilantro, and drizzle with your favorite BBQ sauce. Place the pizza under the broiler and keep a close eye as the cheese will brown quickly!






BBQ Jackfruit Pizza


1 Frozen TJs Cauliflower Crust

1 Pouch of TJs Pulled Jackfruit

¼ of a red onion sliced

A small bunch of fresh cilantro chopped

1 bag of mozzarella cheese

Your favorite BBQ Sauce for drizzling


Note…if you’re not interested in making this meatless, a little crumbled bacon is fantastic on this pizza!! On the other hand, if you want to keep this vegan, use cashew cheese instead of mozzarella!!
